Desmond Wysenyuy

Desmond is an Aerospace Engineer, entrepreneur, and global strategist dedicated to advancing the global space sector. With over a decade of experience in space technology, telecommunications, and program management, he has served extensively at the United Nations, focusing on international collaboration and sustainable space development.

He holds an undergraduate degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, specializing in telecommunications and space technology, a Masters in Space Science and Technology with specialty in Satellite Communication and design. Furthering his expertise, he earned a graduate degree from Thunderbird School of Global Management, Arizona State University with a concentration on Global Digital Transformation. His education equipped him with strategic leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, complementing his deep technical knowledge.

He has been actively involved in fostering international partnerships, policy development, and capacity-building initiatives within the space industry. His passion for leveraging space technology to address societal challenges led him to establish Space Base Solution (SbS).  He has published several peer reviewed articles with topics ranging from IoT, space exploration and A.I. Currently, he serves as a Program Coordinator at the International Astronomical Union’s North America Regional Office for Astronomical Development (NA-ROAD), leading programs that promote astronomy for development, sustainable space, education, and outreach.
